The developer and converter of packaging solutions, EQpack AB, has come up with a different way to meet existing and new customers. They will soon be embarking on a road trip to promote their recycled packaging.
– We are very broad in our offer. We invent and develop packaging and packaging for customers in everything from steel, channel plastic and foam to vacuum-formed plastic, corrugated cardboard and karting. We can undertake the entire concept, but do not know how to reach the industry with this, says Johan Tjernell, CEO of EQpack AB.

– Marketing your packaging of recycled material in a recycled book bus driven on environmental fuel should become a talking point, says Johan Tjernell and laughs.
On the trip, EQpack plans to bring along some bus friends such as the Cafe Bar company, which offers Fair Trade coffee in mugs made from recycled corrugated cardboard. Another bus companion is Mälarplast, which stands for all cutlery and plates made of bioplastic (biomass-balanced, transparent copolyester).
This adventure should be the talk of the town
– We will go to the companies that want a visit. For example, if a company in Malmö wants to have a visit, we load our bus in Eskilstuna and head there on a small tour. On the way there, we will of course also visit a few companies on the way, he says.
The tour is scheduled to take off in the coming weeks.
– We thought we'd start now that it's warm. Initially, we will test our way here near Eskilstuna, says Tjernell.
The bus, which will be loaded with packaging from recycled materials, is 11 meters long, 3.5 meters high and 2.5 meters wide.
– We will definitely be seen when we are on our way and roll forward, says Johan Tjernell.
